Dr. Bennett-Bruns is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also a volunteer for the Special Olympics “Special Smiles” program and the ADA’s “Give Kids a Smile” program. She volunteered for several years with Rotary International and Louisiana State University School of Dentistry to perform dental mission trips to needy children and adults in Jamaica. While at Louisiana State University, she was a member of Delta Sigma Delta dental society.
Dr. Bennett-Bruns is a graduate of Parkview Baptist School in Baton Rouge, Southeastern Louisiana University, and attended one year of graduate school at University of New Orleans where she studied Cellular and Molecular Biology. While at Southeastern Louisiana University, she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority, Gamma Bet Phi Honor Society, Delta Omega Alpha Pre-professional society, and was a volunteer for The American Red Cross in Metairie.
